The MTD Kingston
Artist's are available in 34" scale 4 string or 35" 5
string models. All basses feature a medium weight, ergonomically
carved Basswood body and a bolt-on Eastern hard rock Maple neck.
Kingston Artist's
are supplied with exposed-pole MTD MM style alnico humbucking pickups
and have active electronics. The hardware includes a custom made MTD
bridge and tuners in black. All Kingston basses are delivered with
MTD strings.
The 24 fret
fingerboards come in Maple gloss, Rosewood, and a lined Ebonol
fretless. All fretted basses utilize the Buzz
Feiten Tuning System. Available colors for the Artist are
Translucent Blue, Translucent Red, and Amber. Left-handed basses are
offered with the same options.
